Youth Programs - Okanagan

Provides drop-in programs for youth aged 5–17 that promote recreation, creativity, life skills, and personal growth, along with parental support services for at-risk families.
The BGC Okanagan OK Falls/Oliver/Osoyoos Club provides a comprehensive set of programs and services for children, youth, and families in the South Okanagan region.
  • After School Programs (Ages 5-12): Children participate in fun and engaging after-school activities including outdoor play, sports, games, creative arts, nutritious snacks, and leisure. Programs focus on belonging, positive choices, healthy behaviors, and personal growth, all in a safe, supportive environment. Staff develop caring relationships with each child, encouraging exploration, new friendships, and development of individual strengths. After school programs operate Monday to Friday until 6:30pm at Okanagan Falls.
  • Recreation Programs (Ages 5-17): Offered year-round, recreation programs include a wide variety of activities such as community field trips, sports, life skills development, creative arts, leadership, and learning opportunities. Activities are planned around BGC Canada’s core programming and ensure members can develop skills, build friendships, and connect with positive role models in a fun, supportive atmosphere. Program schedules vary by location and are available via monthly calendars.
  • Youth Recreation Programs (Ages 10-19): These drop-in programs provide a safe and welcoming space for youth to connect, try new experiences, and build positive relationships. Activities are supervised by adult mentors who focus on building self-esteem, respect, teamwork, and responsibility through recreation, creative arts, games, and special events. Programs run at different times in Oliver and Osoyoos for youth up to age 19.
